SEISMECSELF-ASSESSMENT

The SEISMEC self-assessment tool supports organisations, workers, researchers and policymakers in reflecting on the implementation and experience of advanced technologies in the workplace. It is designed to provide an initial, holistic indication of the extent to which organisational practices align with the principles of human-centricity. It translates the conceptual and theoretical basis of the SEISMEC framework into a practical instrument.

The purpose of the tool is to reflect on the technology, whether its implementation supports a human-centric and empowering transformation. The tool recognises that, depending on how they are implemented and experienced by workers, advanced technologies can simultaneously create opportunities and risks. Importantly, the self-assessment tool is intended to be reflective rather than a mechanism for ensuring compliance or a certification tool. Its purpose is to encourage organisational learning, dialogue and ongoing improvement towards a more human-centric digital workplace transformation.
